Baby shower

A big, HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in our little baby shower, we had such a great time. A lot of packages have been delayed due to the blizzards up here (yes, you read that right, BLIZZARDS, and not the kind from Dairy Queen) so there will be a few more baby shower posts to come.

Birthday Season

Just before Thanksgiving we celebrated the back to back birthday extravaganzas of Izzi

and Griffin

Max waits (not so) patiently for the trick or treaters to return.

I'd say it was a very successful Halloween indeed.

Los Angeles Part 2: Kim By The Sea

While in the Los Angeles area I also got to spend a couple days with one of my dearest friends in the whole, wide world - Kim!

We explored the botanical gardens in Balboa Park

We also explored the the margaritas, thoroughly.

Then we spent the evening on her rooftop deck, laughing the sun down.

I love you Kim. Thank you for a wonderful time....now get out to the East Coast already!

Los Angeles Part 1: For Lillian

I have so many pictures from our recent trip to LA that I've decided to break them down into separate posts, in no particular order. The first is for my very good friend Lillian, who I have SO much fun with!

We had such a wonderful time staying with our friends. I would do the whole trip over again (even with the incredible heat and innumerable layovers) just to sit and play in their backyard a little longer. We love you guys very, VERY much.
