Apple season + Steve + hummingbirds

It's apple season here and we have hundreds of apples from one little century old tree in the front yard.

The one above is my favorite. If you look closely you can see me and our house reflected in those giant unseeing pupils.

And finally the hummingbirds that are still all over the late blooming nasturtium.

A river runs through it

Well, actually it's a creek called The Esopus and it runs right across the street from our house.
