How does your garden grow

Tulips. We didn't know they were here when we moved in, but when we returned from Australia there they were. All white tulips that have started to turn purple at the edges as they age. Totally gorgeous.

Asa is a fantastic helper...

...and so is Papa John!

I even pitch in now and again.

We're getting there!

Papa John's poppies

Peas and beans

Giant fennel

Lavender

Hummingbird vine

Snapdragons

Sweet allysum

The quinoa has popped out! We'll see how she fares.
The carrots and beets have also poked there tiny heads above ground, but I'm not sure how they'll do. It's a but late, and a bit warm, for their liking, but I couldn't help but plant them. An experiment in gardening continues...

Progress report
Oh how things grow in the wilds of the Catskill Mountains...
the apples are coming
and the blackberries too.
The nasturtium get even bigger
along with the pumpkins and
the grapes.
The peas are slow growers, but they are coming along nicely.

I am in floral heaven, bunches of daisies and irises and wild roses bless every table and counter in our home, dusty warm scents wafting into ever corner. It is summer bliss.
A garden update is coming soon....everything grows and grows in The Land of fast Moving Waters.

The garden and it's friends
After a little hard work our patch of dirt is finally a garden!

Thats sweet bell pepper, butternut squash and tomatoes
parsley, cilantro, rosemary, sage, chives, mint and garlic
summer squash, cucumber, zucchini and potatoes.

And planted in other places around the house...
I've also discovered a new friend right outside the window.
Things are happening out here in the Catskills, and I am lucky enough to document all the goings on.
